BIOGRAPHY

Ben is a freelance guitarist and tutor from the United Kingdom. He specialises in multiple styles within the Rock & Pop genres, ranging from the energetic and hard-hitting world of Punk and Metal to the groove and melody of Funk and Disco. 

 

Since 2015, Ben has been studying at The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford where he has attained a Diploma and has recently graduated with a First Class Honours in their degree programme. Here he has studied under Giorgio Serci, (David Garrett, BBC Concert Orchestra) Michael Goodman,  (Nate James, Cass Fox) and Andrew Small (Kylie Minogue, Massive Attack)

During his time at ACM, Ben provided guitar duties for Merrow Dramatic Society's production of ‘Return To The Forbidden Planet’ at The Electric Theatre, performing an array of 50s and 60s rock ’n’ roll classics. He has performed with Pop singers Hannah Laura Bayley and Hannah Drablow-Smith as part of their end-of-year professional showcase, along with performing at the annual ‘Summer Live’ showcase with for Pop-Punk band ‘Somewhere From Nowhere’.
